Prescribed Burn Planned for Angel Island
The Air District is working closely with CAL FIRE + California State Parks on a prescribed burn planned for Angel Island mid-week to ensure ground-level smoke impacts are minimized as much as possible. Agencies will closely monitor conditions throughout the burn and will cease operations if conditions change or are no longer suitable.

Regulation 2 Rule 4: Emissions Banking
Amendments to Regulation 2, Rule 4: Permits - Emissions Banking were adopted by the Air District's Board of Directors at a public hearing on December 6, 2017:

The Air District developed revisions to its permitting programs through amendments to Regulation 2, Rule 4: Permits - Emissions Banking. The amendments to this rule were developed and adopted along with other changes to the permits regulation. Amendments to Rule 2-4, along with amendments to Rule 2-1, Rule 2-2, and Rule 2-6, made significant changes to the New Source Review pre-construction permit program and the Title V Major Facility Review operating permit program.
