The Air District is in the process of updating the 2010 Clean Air Plan. Upcoming and past workshop notices and materials related to the Clean Air Plan are coming soon.
To help inform development of its Regional Climate Protection Strategy, the Air District has collaborated with the UC Berkeley Cool Climate Network to develop a consumption-based greenhouse gas emissions inventory for the Bay Area. The inventory shows how the size and composition of the average household GHG footprint varies across the region. A webcast to explain the consumption-based inventory was presented on Tuesday, January 26.
The Air District develops rules and regulations that improve local air quality and protect the health of Bay Area residents.
Interested parties are encouraged to participate in the rule development process through the Air District’s public workshops.
