View air quality complaints that have been received and investigated by the Air District in the past year.
The Air District is committed to increasing public access to complaint information submitted by the public while protecting the privacy of each complainant. This new Air Quality Complaint Search Tool provides a way to search for air quality complaints reported to the Air District. Making this data accessible allows members of the community and interested stakeholders to search complaint records by complaint type, alleged source, date range, city, county, and ZIP code.
Responding to and investigating air quality complaints is one of the Air District’s highest priorities to ensure timely resolutions of potential compliance concerns that may impact local communities. To file an air quality complaint, please visit the Air District’s online complaint reporting system or call the Air District’s 24-hour toll-free complaint line (1-800-334-ODOR). All complaints are dispatched to inspectors for investigation.
This web tool is an initial version intended to provide information exactly the way it is received without alteration except for redaction of personal information or offensive content where necessary. Future versions of this tool will contain additional information and features.
To request a copy of the complaint report, please submit a Public Records Request and reference the complaint number in your request.
As the Air District continues to enhance the functionality of this search tool, additional data and features may be developed for future iterations.
