Regulation 3: Fees - 2019 Amendment (Superseded)

Learn about the Air District's development process for amendments to Regulation 3, which would increase fee revenue to help recover a greater share of the costs incurred by the Air District in implementing and enforcing regulatory programs.

Amendments to Regulation 3: Fees were adopted by the Air District's Board of Directors at a public hearing on June 5, 2019:

Amendments to Regulation 3: Fees would include revisions to the Air District’s fee schedules and increases to specific Regulation 3 fees. These amendments would be effective for the Air District’s FYE 2020, which begins on July 1, 2019.

The Air District released draft amendments to Regulation 3 and accepted comments through March 21, 2019. The Air District has posted a Notice of Public Hearing and released the proposed amendments to Regulation 3. The Air District accepted comments on the proposal through May 9, 2019.

Regulation 3 will be on the agenda for two Public Hearings: the first on May 1, 2019, and the second on June 5, 2019. At the May 1 Public Hearing, staff will accept testimony on the proposed amendments. At the June 5 Public Hearing, the proposed amendments will be considered by the Board for adoption.
