How to Apply

  1. Determine your vehicle’s eligibility for this program.
  2. Contact an Air District-approved dismantler to schedule an appointment to sell your vehicle.
  3. On the day of appointment, the following documents are required:
    • Vehicle title
    • Proof of registration for the past 24 consecutive months
      •  *Please note that Pick-n-Pull will only accept original registration documents


To be considered your vehicle must:

  1. Be currently registered as operable and be in operating condition
  2. Have been registered as operable in the Bay Area for the past 2 years
  3. Pass a Smog Check if within 60 days of a required Smog Check
