Heavy-Duty Zero-Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) Program

Learn about grants for the purchase and lease of zero-emissions heavy-duty vehicles operating in the nine-county Bay Area.

This program is now closed. Please review the other open funding opportunities by using the navigation on the left.

This program is designed to help fleet operators achieve voluntary emission reductions through encouraging the deployment of zero-emission technologies when replacing older, compliant vehicles, and when expanding their fleet.

The FYE 2016 cycle closed on June 22, 2016. If you would like to be notified of future developments and solicitations for this program, please sign up to receive email notifications.

The program will provide funding to reimburse a percentage of the difference in cost between a zero-emission vehicle and a conventionally fueled vehicle. Awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis, and the funding amounts will be determined using the most recent ARB calculation methodology for cost-effectiveness and emissions reductions.

Up to $5 million is available for fiscal year ending (FYE) 2016.
