The Air District is announcing the delivery of air filtration units for Pier 94 transitional housing site residents in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco. 

The Air District announced today that it has successfully secured a Closure Plan and Agreement with Martin Marietta, terminating operations at its Bayview Hunters Point sand and aggregate processing site at Pier 94. This action will require Martin Marietta to cease all sand and aggregate processing operations by October 31, 2023, and comply with dust control provisions until it vacates the site. 

The Air District has fined the City of Berkeley $130,000 for air quality violations that occurred at its landfill site at Cesar Chavez Park in Berkeley from 2019 - 2022. 

The Air District announced today that it has successfully secured a Termination and Closure Agreement with Recology San Francisco, terminating operations at its Bayview Hunters Point inert-debris-crushing site.

The Air District has fined Marathon Martinez Refinery, which is operated by Marathon subsidiary Tesoro Refining & Marketing Company LLC, $372,500 for 13 Notices of Violation that include tank-related violations, uncertified pieces of equipment at their on-site gas dispensing facility and reporting delays.
