The Air District is announcing the expansion of its Clean Cars for All grant program, which offers incentives of up to $9,500 for income-qualified Bay Area residents to retire older cars and replace them with a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or electric vehicle, or to get a pre-loaded Clipper Card for public transit. 

Mga grant para sa mga residente ng Bay Area na may kwalipikadong kita para iretiro na nila ang kanilang lumang sasakyan at palitan ito ng hybrid, plug-in hybrid, de-baterya, o hydrogen fuel cell na de-kuryenteng sasakyan, o ng pre-paid na card na magagamit para sa pampublikong transportasyon at pagbili ng mga e-bike.

The program will open at 10AM on August 26, 2016, on a first-come, first-served basis for homeowners and landlords to replace their wood burning device. Funding will be prioritized for low-income residents, residents located in areas highly affected by wood smoke, and households exempt from burn bans due to a wood-burning device being the sole source of heat. Starting November 1, 2016, anyone whose sole source of heat is a wood-burning device must use an EPA-certified or pellet-fueled device that is registered with the Air District to qualify for an exemption.
