The Air District is announcing its Clean Air Talk series, featuring Air District Board Chair Davina Hurt, to be held in communities throughout the Bay Area.

The Air District is investigating all potential sources for a series of rotten-egg odor complaints in San Francisco and Richmond - including two flaring incidents at Chevron as well as other potential sources such as ships, area landfills and wastewater treatment facilities.

On Monday, September 28, the Air District is hosting the last of a series of open houses to discuss the agency’s four new and amended draft petroleum refinery emissions reduction rules. This open house will be held at Lincoln Elementary School in Richmond starting at 6pm. The public comment period for these rules and amendments closes on Friday, Oct. 2.
