Valero Refinery in Benicia notified Air District of a planned shutdown of some refinery equipment beginning 1/31. Odors and/or flaring may occur. Air District inspectors will be closely monitoring. Report air quality complaints: 800-334-ODOR or online.

The Air District is issuing an air quality advisory due to smoke from the Crystal Fire in Napa County for today, Wednesday, June 5. Localized smoke impacts are possible near Angwin and may impact the Napa Valley from St. Helena to Calistoga. We will be closely monitoring air quality for smoke impacts from this incident.

The Air District will host its first career fair on Tuesday, October 6, from 10am to 2pm at Saint Mary's Cathedral in the St. Francis Hall. The career fair will provide information about job opportunities at the Air District, and will give attendees an opportunity to speak to current employees about their areas of expertise.
