The Air District is requesting an abatement order from the agency’s independent Hearing Board to correct air quality violations at Tesla’s electric vehicle manufacturing facility in Fremont.

The Air District has awarded a loan guarantee to Zevvy, formerly Flux EV, an electric vehicle leasing solution with flexible lease agreements designed to save drivers in the Bay Area money on gas and maintenance costs by choosing an EV over a gas-powered vehicle. 

The Air District has joined the State of California’s lawsuit against the United States Postal Service to stop the agency from replacing 90 percent of its delivery fleet with fossil-fuel-powered vehicles.

The Air District has issued Crown Hill Materials, a concrete facility in Vallejo, a Notice of Violation for operating a concrete batch plant without the required air quality permit. The Air District has also issued a cease-and-desist letter directing the company to stop operating the unpermitted plant.
