Program’s grant application process to access at least $10 million in grant funding to offset the cost of purchasing and installing new chargers for light-duty electric vehicles at multi-family housing facilities, destinations, transit parking locations, and workplaces across the Bay Area. This funding is available to businesses, homeowner associations, non-profits, public agencies, and tribes. Applications are being accepted now through June 6, 2025, at 5PM.

Northerly winds near the Ranch Fire in Tehama County south of Redding will allow some smoke to move toward the Bay Area. The smoke is expected to continue to cause hazy skies and potentially elevated hourly air quality readings for fine particulates today and tomorrow, but air quality is not expected to exceed the federal health standard.
