Middle- and high-school students from across the region are invited to attend the third annual Youth for the Environment and Sustainability, or YES, Conference on Saturday, January 30, 2016, in Berkeley. The registration deadline for youth presenters is Thursday, December 15, 2015.

The annual Youth for Environment and Sustainability, or YES, Conference, co-sponsored by the Air District, returns to the Bay Area on Saturday, February 24, 2018.  It will be held at Laney College, 900 Fallon Street in Oakland from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. The free day-long regional conference will bring together middle and high school students from the nine Bay Area counties to discuss topics ranging from climate change and public health to transportation and air pollution.

The Air District is soliciting applications for thirteen seats on its Community Advisory Council. The thirteen open seats represent: Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Solano counties, as well as at-large and youth seats. 

The Air District is soliciting applications for two seats on its Community Advisory Council (CAC). There are two vacant seats, one for a member who resides or works in Alameda County and one for a representative of Bay Area youth.
